Humex hay fever nasal spray is a medicine indicated for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis. It contains a corticoid: beclometasone dipropionate at 50 µg.

Humex hay fever is reserved for adults over 15 years of age. It is an anti-inflammatory treatment, available without a prescription, which is administered by nasal route to counter the symptoms of exposure to certain pollens such as sneezing and runny nose (rhinorrhea).

Humex Hay Fever Dosage

During the entire period of exposure to pollens and for a maximum of 6 weeks, Humex Hay Fever Nasal Spray should be used at a rate of 1 spray 4 times a day. Do not increase the dose or duration of treatment.

Do not hesitate to ask your pharmacist for advice or consult your doctor if you are unsure. In addition, it is interesting to refer to a pollen calendar to know the most risky periods according to your allergy

Contraindications of Humex nasal spray

Humex hay fever should not be used in case of allergy to any of its constituents, whether its active ingredient: beclometasone or its excipients: anhydrous glucose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, phenylethyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.

This medicine against allergic rhinitis should not be used in case of blood clotting disorders including nosebleeds or if you have recently had or are about to have nose surgery.

Humex Hay Fever is contraindicated in cases of untreated digestive ulcers or pulmonary tuberculosis, or in cases of herpes virus infection, whether nasal, ocular or even oral.

Its use is not recommended for sportsmen and women, as Humex Hay Fever may lead to a positive anti-doping test.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, this corticosteroid should only be used if your doctor considers it necessary.

The effectiveness ofHumex Hay Fever is fully assessed after 48 to 72 hours. However, if no improvement is observed after one week or if you notice the appearance of symptoms such as fever, sputum, infected (yellow) nasal discharge, conjunctivitis or asthma, you should consult your doctor.

Humex hay fever should not be combined with any other corticosteroid: ask your pharmacist for advice if you are unsure.
