Dolodent Gingival Solution from the Gilbert laboratories is a local antiseptic, analgesic and anaesthetic treatment indicated in case of gum pain during teething in infants.
- The active ingredient (amylin hydrochloride) contained in Dolodent is a local anaesthetic which, when applied, rapidly relieves baby's sore gums.
- The anaesthetic action of Dolodent combined with the gum massage effectively soothes your child.
- The Dolodent solution has a pleasant caramel aroma.
Presented in the form of a pump bottle, Dolodent Gingival Solution allows a more practical and hygienic use of the product.
Directions for use :
Dolodent Gingival Solution is applied two to three times a day directly to the painful gums by massaging gently with a clean finger.
Strict local use. Gingival way. Do not swallow. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult your doctor.
Contraindications:
This drug should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of the formula, especially to amylin hydrochloride or to local anesthetics in general.
Special warnings and precautions for use:
Do not swallow after application. Follow the advice for administration and dosage. The indication does not justify prolonged treatment. In case of persistence of symptoms beyond 5 days and/or associated fever, the therapeutic conduct will have to be controlled by the dental specialist. The attention of sportsmen is drawn to the fact that this medicine contains an active ingredient (local anaesthetic) which may induce a positive reaction in tests performed
during anti-doping controls.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The therapeutic indication does not apply to pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding.
Pregnancy: Studies in animals have not shown any teratogenic effect of amylin hydrochloride. In the absence of teratogenic effects in animals, a malformative effect in humans is not expected. Clinically, there are currently no sufficiently relevant data to evaluate a possible malformative or fetotoxic effect by the systemic route during pregnancy.
Nursing Women: There are no kinetic data on the passage of amylin hydrochloride into breast milk.
Adverse Effects:
Sensitization to local anaesthetics with risk of anaphylactic reaction.
Overdose:
Overdose is not expected under normal conditions of use of this gingival solution.
