Description:
Oxyplastine is an ointment with zinc oxide (46%) for diapering and skin irritations.
The excipients contained in this medicine are: cholesterol, white beeswax, purified water, wool fat, calcium hydroxide, virgin castor oil.
HOW TO USE OXYPLASTINE ?
Apply locally 1 to 2 times a day for 3 to 5 days. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE OF THE ANTI-IRRITATION OINTMENT
This zinc oxide ointment should not be applied to oozing or infected lesions or in case of allergy to any of the compounds in the Oxyplastine formula.
Do not apply to a large area of the body.
Due to lack of data, the use of Oxyplastine is not recommended during pregnancy. It should also not be applied to the breasts during lactation because of the risk of ingestion by the newborn.
The application of this ointment for diaper change may cause contact eczema as an undesirable effect, although this is rare.
