Treatment of bronchial secretion disorders in adults, particularly during acute bronchial illnesses and acute episodes of chronic bronchopneumopathy.
This medicine is an expectorant. It facilitates the coughing up of bronchial secretions.

Due to the presence of sorbitol (2.9 g per sachet), this medicine should not be used in cases of fructose intolerance (hereditary metabolic disease).

4. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS?
Description of side effects
Like all medicines, SURBRONC EXPECTORANT AMBROXOL SUGAR-FREE, drinkable solution sweetened with acesulfame potassium and sorbitol is likely to have undesirable effects, although not everyone is subject to them:
Minor gastrointestinal effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach ache or heartburn, disturbance of digestion have been reported infrequently.
The following have been described:
-casesof allergic skin reactions such as redness, rash, itching, urticaria;
Veryrarely, generalised allergic reactions with angioedema (swelling of the face and respiratory problems).
In these cases, treatment must be stopped.
Headaches and dizziness have also been reported very rarely.
Due to the presence of sorbitol, digestive disorders and diarrhoea may occur.
If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, or if any side effects become serious, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
