Description Mycoster 1% Ciclopirox olamine cream 30 g
Mycoster 1% cream is a medicine recommended for the treatment of mycosis of the skin or nails (fungal diseases) whether or not infected by bacteria, and mild to moderate seborrheic dermatitis of the face.
Its active ingredient is ciclopirox olamine dosed at 1%, the excipients of Mycoster cream are: Octyldodecanol, light liquid kerosene, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, tetradecanol, diethanolamide of copra fatty acids, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, benzyl alcohol, lactic acid, purified water
Dosage Mycoster 1% Ciclopirox olamine cream 30 g
It depends on the pathology you are trying to treat.
In the treatment of cutaneous mycoses: 2 times a day for 3 weeks
In the treatment of mycosis of the nails: application of the cream for several months.
In light to moderate seborrheic dermatitis of the face, there are 2 phases:
in attack treatment: 2 applications per day during 2 to 4 weeks.
in maintenance: 1 time per day during one month.
Contra-indications of Mycoster
Not to use in the event of pregnancy, in the event of allergies to one of the constituents, near the eyes.
During the use of an antifungal treatment like Mycoster, it is not necessary to use soap with an acid pH because it would support the development of the fungus (Candida)
The presence of alcohol in the formulation of Mycoster can lead to local irritations such as eczema.
