Indications : Diclofenac Sandoz 1% gel is indicated in cases of tendonitis of the upper and lower limbs, post-operative and post-traumatic oedema. Diclofenac Sandoz 1% gel is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of painful osteoarthritis of the fingers and knees.
Dosage : Dermal. For adults only. Tendonitis: 3 to 4 applications per day. Post-operative and post-traumatic oedemas (sprains, etc.): 2 to 4 applications per day. Painful osteoarthritis of the fingers and knees: 3 to 4 applications per day. The dose administered for each application is about 2.5 g of gel (about 6 cm of gel).
Composition : diethylamine diclofenac 1.16 g per 100 g of gel. Notable excipient: propylene glycol (5 g per 100 g of gel). Excipients : isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, cocoyl caprylocaprate, liquid paraffin, cetomacrogol 1000, carbomer 974 P, diethylamine, lavender essential oil, purified water.
Your pharmacist's advice : massage the gel gently and prolonged on the painful or inflammatory area. Wash your hands well after each use (except in case of self-application for painful digital arthritis).
Precautions for use : do not use in pregnant women. Do not apply to damaged skin. Do not use in people prone to allergies to NSAIDs (aspirin,...)
