Directions for use and advice on Chophytol artichoke
Oral way. Swallow with a little water, 1 to 2 tablets before the 3 main meals or at the time of the disorders.
Composition of Chophytol artichoke
For 1 tablet:
Artichoke (dry aqueous extract of leaf): 200mg
Other components: Magnesium trisilicate, pregelatinized corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, shellac, rosin, gelatin, sucrose, calcium carbonate, coloring dispersion*, carnauba wax, Polysorbate 80.
Composition of the coloring dispersion: sucrose, yellow, black and brown iron oxides (E 172), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218) and ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 214).
One tablet contains 0.08 g of sucrose.
Precautions for use Chophytol Articaut
Use this medicine with caution in case of obstruction of the bile ducts or serious liver disease.
In case of diarrhoea or abdominal pain, stop the treatment and consult your doctor.
This medicine contains sucrose. Its use is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency.
This medicine contains parahydroxybenzoate and may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, CHOPHYTOL, coated tablet is likely to have side effects, although not everyone is subject to them.
- risk of diarrhoea at high doses;
- due to the presence of paraben (parahydroxybenzoates), this medicine may cause hives.
