Dosage of Eurax 10% Cream
For external use only.
Its mode of administration is the cutaneous route.
It should be applied 2 to 3 times a day to the area affected by itching and carried out with a gentle massage.
Children under 3 years: application only after medical advice. Do not exceed 1 application/day.

Precautions for use of Eurax 10% Cream
This medicine must not be used in case of allergy to its active substance or to any of its components, on infected or irritated skin lesions, as well as on oozing skin lesions and on eczema. It should not be applied to the oral mucosa or in or around the eyes. If it comes into contact with the eyelids, it may cause conjunctivitis.
If this cream is applied over a large area, under an occlusive dressing, on injured skin, on the skin of infants or premature babies, or on mucous membranes, there is a risk of crotamiton passing into the bloodstream.
Eurax 10% Cream contains propylene glycol, which can cause skin irritation. It should therefore not be used on open wounds or large areas of damaged or injured skin, such as burns, without the advice of a pharmacist or doctor.
This medicine is formulated with stearic alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. eczema).
Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking, are going to take or have recently taken any other medicine.
Eurax 10% Cream should not be used during pregnancy. It should not be used during breast-feeding unless advised by your doctor. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Uncommon side effects of this medicine are itching. Rare side effects are itchy rash, redness of the skin, eczema. In case of an adverse reaction, discontinue use.
In case of an allergic reaction after use (difficulty in breathing or swallowing, swelling of the lips, face, neck, throat or tongue, severe itching with pimples or redness), discontinue use and consult a doctor immediately
