Description:
The active components contained in Calyptol inhalant are for a 5ml ampoule: eucalyptol cineole (250mg), alpha terpineol (25 mg), essential oil of Scots pine (50 mg), essential oil of thyme (50 mg), essential oil of rosemary (50 mg). Other constituents are macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate (Cremophor RH40), a mixture of ethoxylated octylphenol and ethoxylated nonylphenol (Remcopal type ON5) and purified water.
Dosage:
In adults and children over 12 years of age, it is advisable to make 1 to 3 inhalations per day of Calyptol inhalant, by pouring the contents of an ampoule into a container (inhaler or bowl) of very hot water, and proceed to inhale the vapours. The water should not be boiling, and it should never be heated or reheated after mixing.
The duration of this treatment for the common cold is limited to 5 days, unless medically advised.
Warnings:
Calyptol Inhaler should never be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components, in children under 12 years of age and in children with a history of convulsions.
As a precautionary measure, Calyotol Inhaler should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is important to respect the indicated dosage and not to exceed the doses, in order to avoid an overdose which could cause neurological disorders (convulsions)
Do not combine Calyptol Inhaler with other cold medicines of similar composition.
If the symptoms worsen, in the presence of fever or in case of superinfections, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Calyptol Inhaler should not be used in the case of epilepsy.
Do not swallow.
