Description:

100 g of cream contains 5 g of permethrin.

The other components are: emulsifying cetostearyl alcohol (type A), liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly, sorbic acid and purified water

DOSAGE:

The usual dosage is 2 skin applications with the first application on D 0 and the second application one week later on D 8. The duration between 2 applications should not be less than 7 days and not more than 14 days.

This cream should be applied gently in a thin layer on the skin.

In adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, 30 g of cream is applied per application, which is equivalent to the tube.

This cream is applied to the whole body, including the neck, nape of the neck, palms of the hands and soles of the feet. It is not necessary to apply it to the head and face, except if they are affected. Remember to apply the cream between the fingers and toes, on the wrists, elbows, armpits, external genitalia and buttocks.

For children aged 6 to 12 years, apply 15 g of cream. For children aged 1 to 5 years, the dose is 7.5 g of cream, which is the size of two hazelnuts. Finally, for children aged 2 months to 1 year, 3.75 g of cream is applied. In children, the cream is also applied to the whole body including the face and scalp.

In elderly subjects, the cream is applied to the same areas as in adults, with the addition of the face, ears and scalp.

To avoid any risk of contamination, one tube is used per patient. It is important that the cream does not get into the eyes or come into contact with mucous membranes (lips, mouth, nostrils, genital area) or open wounds, otherwise rinse with water

After applying the cream, leave it on for at least 8 hours, the best being to apply it in the evening at bedtime, to guarantee its effectiveness. Avoid bathing, showering and washing during this time. If your hands are washed during these 8 hours, the cream must be reapplied to your hands and wrists, as well as if other areas have been washed. After these 8 hours, the cream is removed in the shower or with soap and water.
