DOSAGE:
Before applying the ointment, it is necessary to blow the nose
The generally recommended dosage for adults is 1 to 3 applications per day of a small amount of ointment in each nostril
For children over 6 years of age, it is 1 application per day of the same small amount of ointment in both nostrils
Regarding the duration of treatment, it is always advisable to limit its use to the shortest period possible.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
This ointment should not be used in children under 6 years, and in children with a history of convulsions (due to fever or not), due to the presence of terpenes (essential oil of niaouli)
It should not be used in the event of a history of allergy to one of its constituents
Vaseline Gomenolae 5% Ointment contains terpenes (niaouli essential oil) which may cause, when used in excessive doses, accidents such as convulsions in infants, young children and children, but also respiratory pauses and serious illnesses in infants.
