Description:
This infection is most often manifested by itching in the vulva and vagina, causing discomfort. It can also be a whitish or yellowish discharge with an unpleasant odour.
The active molecule of this drug is sertaconazole nitrate, dosed at 300 mg per ovule, with excipients: solid hemisynthetic glycerides (WITEPSOL H19 and SUPPOCIRE NAI 50) and colloidal anhydrous silica.
Precautions for use of Candazol 300 mg
The ovule is inserted directly into the vagina for local treatment, preferably in the evening at bedtime.
Check with your doctor that you are not allergic or intolerant to the active molecule or to one of the excipients. On the other hand, the use of soap with an acidic pH is not recommended, as it would encourage the development of candidiasis.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The studies conducted on the potential impact of sertaconazole on pregnancy therefore invite vigilance, those observed in the context of breastfeeding are positive and allow its use.
Directions for use :
1 ovule in the evening at bedtime
