ANTIANEMIC -VITAMIN B12. This medicine contains vitamin B12.

It is recommended for the treatment of anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency in strict vegans for more than 4 years (diet without meat, dairy products, eggs or fish).

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE USING VITAMIN B12 GERDA 250 µg, scored tablet

Never use VITAMIN B12 GERDA 250 µg, scored tablet :

- In children under 6 years of age, because of the pharmaceutical form.

The use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with glucose and galactose malabsorption syndrome.

The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases).

The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary diseases).

Dosage

RESTRICTED TO ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 6 YEARS OF AGE, due to the pharmaceutical form. The usual dosage is :

- attack treatment (restoration of hepatic reserves): 1 tablet per day for 15 days to 1 month.

- Maintenance treatment (sufficient to cover daily needs): 1 tablet every 10 days. In all cases, strictly follow your doctor's prescription.
