This medicine is indicated for pain, burning or heartburn of the stomach or oesophagus.
Directions for use Xolaam Mint taste adult 40 Chewable or suckable tablets
The tablets should be sucked or chewed. This medicine should be taken at the time of pain, without exceeding 6 times a day.
Dosage
1 to 2 tablets to be taken at the time of pain, in adults.

Composition Xolaam Mint taste adult 40 Chewable or suckable tablets
The active ingredients are:
Aluminium (hydroxide gel) Amount corresponding to aluminium (hydroxide) ............................................................................ 400,00 mg
Magnesium (hydroxide gel) Amount corresponding to magnesium (hydroxide) .......................................................................... 400.00 mg For one tablet.
Other components are: Mannitol, sorbitol, sodium saccharin, starch powdered sucrose, mint flavor, magnesium stearate, sucrose for direct compression.
Packaging
Tablet to suck or to crunch, box of 40.
Precautions of use
If you follow a diet limited in carbohydrates, sugar-free diet or diabetic diet, take into account the sugar intake (10 mg of mannitol, 125 mg of sorbitol and approximately 250 mg of sucrose) per tablet. In case of chronic renal dialysis or prolonged treatment, take into account the aluminium intake.
Special warnings If the symptoms do not disappear within 7 days, you should consult your doctor. If the pains are associated with fever, vomiting, it is advisable to consult your doctor immediately. Due to the presence of sorbitol and sucrose, this medicine should not be used in case of fructose intolerance (hereditary metabolic disease), glucose and galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (rare metabolic diseases).

Contraindications
Never take XOLAAM, chewable or suckable tablet in case of severe renal insufficiency (kidney function failure). IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE

This medication should only be used during pregnancy on the advice of your doctor.
