Gynopura Gé LP 150 mg is a medicine indicated for the local treatment of mycoses (affections due to microscopic fungi) of the vulva and the vagina, sometimes superinfected

Packaging: box of 2 sustained-release ova.

Dosage :

In most cases, 1 ovule preferably in the evening at bedtime, as a single administration.
In some cases, your doctor may prescribe 1 ovule in the evening and 1 ovule the next morning.

If you feel that the effect of GYNOPURA LP 150 mg is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist

Mode and route of administration

Vaginal.
Insert the egg deep into the vagina, preferably in a lying position. The easiest way to do this is to lie on your back with your knees bent and spread apart.

Practical advice:

  • Wash with a neutral or alkaline pH soap.
  • In order not to contaminate those around you, use your own towels (glove, towel)
  • Your doctor may:
    • Also treat your sexual partner to prevent him from contaminating you,
    • Prescribe an antifungal agent to be applied locally.
  • Wear cotton clothes
  • Avoid vaginal showers
  • Do not interrupt the treatment during your period.
  • Avoid wearing internal tampons during treatment.

The active substance is:

Econazole nitrate: 150 mg for 1 ovule.

The other components are: Galactomannan, colloidal anhydrous silica, solid hemisynthetic glycerides, stearyl heptanoate.

Do not use Gynopura Gé LP 150 mg in the following cases:
- allergy to one of the components of the product (see composition) or to a related substance (belonging to the imidazole group);
- use with a latex diaphragm.

Take special precautions with Gynopura Gé LP 150 mg:
Local treatment of mycosis is only one part of the overall treatment. To avoid relapses, it is essential that your doctor looks for factors that may contribute to a relapse.
Do not use soap with an acidic pH for local hygiene, as acidity encourages the proliferation of fungi (see practical advice in the section: "How to use Gynopura Gé LP 150 mg").
This treatment may cause local burning and increased itching. These phenomena usually subside spontaneously with continued treatment.
If the symptoms persist for more than 24 to 48 hours, consult your doctor
