Ophtaxia wipes from the Bausch+Lomb laboratory are used for the hygiene and care of the eyelids and eyelashes of the whole family and preserve the integrity of the eye. They are recommended for the eye hygiene of babies, children and adults.

They are used in the treatment of blepharitis, dryness andocular allergy, but also in the case ofeye and eyelid infections such as chalazion or stye.

They help to drain the meibomian glands, sebaceous glands that are located in the epidermis of the eyelids.
These wipes gently clean impurities, crusts and secretions from the eye. They also soothe and comfort red, inflamed and sore eyelids. They reduce itching, irritation and discomfort of the eyelids.

These wipes are preservative-free, individually wrapped and sterile. They are suitable for contact lens wearers. However, you will have to remove the lenses before using them.

Ophtaxia wipes allow the application of the solution and ensure the softness of the gesture thanks to the texture specially adapted to the eyelids without risking to irritate them.

Instructions for use:

  • Before using a wipe, check that the sachet is not opened or damaged.
  • After washing your hands, remove the wipe from the pouch.
  • If you wear contact lenses, it is preferable to remove them before use.
  • Close the eye and gently clean the eyelid with a side-to-side motion from the outside to the inside corner of the eye
  • Use one wipe per eye, and discard after use.

Cautions and warnings

  • Do not use if the sachet is opened or damaged.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Do not reuse.
  • Avoid contact with the surface of the eye.
  • For external use only, do not swallow.
  • Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the box and fist on the sachet
  • Keep out of reach and sight of children.
  • Dispose of the used sachet in accordance with local waste management regulations
  • Do not store above 25°C.
  • If your eye condition persists, consult a doctor, pharmacist or optician
