COMPOSITION
1 ml of solution contains 12 mg of Borax and 18 mg of boric acid.
This medicine also contains the following excipients: sodium chloride, distilled rose water, purified water
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
As an eye wash
1 to 3 washings per day
Wash your hands thoroughly.
The eye wash is done by jet by pressing lightly on the unidose container taking care not to put the unidose container in contact with the surface of the eye.
Wipe off any excess with a gauze pad or cotton ball.
You can use a single-dose container for both eyes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use Borax/Boric Acid 12 mg/18 mg/mL if you are hypersensitive to boric acid or borax or to any of the excipients.
SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Do not swallow.
Do not inject.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Throw away an opened single-dose container immediately after use. Do not keep it for later use.
In case of concomitant treatment with an eye drop, it is advisable to wait 15 minutes before instilling it.
This medication can be used by contact lens wearers, however, it is advised to remove them before proceeding with the eye wash.
Borax / Boric Acid should be used with caution in pregnant or nursing women.
In case of visual discomfort after instillation, it is advised not to drive or operate machinery until normal vision returns.
