Dalféine 500 mg / 65 mg is a medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of pain of mild to moderate intensity, but also feverish states, in adults and children over 15 years (over 50 kilos). Dalféine tablets should be swallowed whole, preferably with a glass of water. This medication is reserved for short-term use only. If pain persists for more than 5 days or fever for more than 3 days, or in case of insufficient efficacy or any other sign, do not continue treatment without the advice of a physician.
In adults, elderly and adolescents (over 15 years of age) weighing between 50 and 60 kg: take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed (up to 3 times a day). Do not take more than 4 tablets in a 24-hour period.
In adults, seniors and adolescents over 15 years of age and weighing more than 60 kg: take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed (up to 3 times a day). Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
In all cases, always respect an interval of 4 hours between two doses of Dalféine. Dalféine tablets contain caffeine. To avoid consuming too much caffeine, you should limit your intake of caffeinated beverages (such as coffee, tea or soda) during treatment.
