ADVIL 400 MG DOSAGE

The usual dosage for fever or pain is one 400mg tablet per dose, repeated if necessary every 6 to 8 hours, up to a maximum of 3 400mg tablets per day (i.e. 1200mg per day).

It is advisable to use the lowest possible dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.

Treatment should last 3 days for fever, and 5 days for pain. If you are not relieved by Advil 400 mg, or if your condition worsens, you should consult your doctor.

In case of migraine, the Advil 400 mg tablet should be taken as soon as possible, but a second dose should not be taken during the same attack. However, it can be treated with another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or aspirin.

The duration of treatment for migraine should not exceed 3 days.

Tablets should preferably be taken with a meal, and swallowed with a glass of water.
