Description Biogaran Amorolfine 5% Nail Varnish
Amorolfine 5% from Biogaran conseil is a medicated antifungal nail varnish that treats ungual mycosis, or onychomycosis, infections caused by microscopic fungi affecting the nails of the hands and feet in adults.
A mycosis generally results in a change in colouring (white, yellow or brown) and thickening of the nail.
Directions for use Biogaran Amorolfine 5% Nail fungus Varnish
Follow the treatment once or twice a week until the healthy nail grows back completely (about 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails). As nail growth is slow, it takes 2 to 3 months before an improvement is seen. However, if no improvement is observed after 3 months of use, consult your doctor.
Preparation of the nail
Remove any previous layers of nail polish with a nail polish remover.
File the surface of the nail, with a dedicated file, insisting on the infected part in order to reduce the thickness of the tablet.
Clean the nail with the wipes provided.
Treatment of the nail
Dip one of the reusable spatulas into the nail polish bottle and apply to the entire nail surface.
Allow to dry for approximately 3 minutes. Once dry, the nail polish is soap and water resistant.
All infected nails must be treated.
Composition Biogaran Amorolfine 5% Nail Varnish
Amorolfine hydrochloride 5.574 g, i.e. amorolfine base 5.000 g (per 100 ml).
Methacrylic acid copolymer (EUDRAGIT RL100), triacetin, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, ethanolabsolute.
Bottle of 2,5 ml.
Precautions for use
Do not use on false nails.
